2. Internet Public Library History Resources
The Internet Public Library is an excellent starting point for locating Internet resources on history. It provides information on history in general and also lists historical resources by world area.

3. Long Island History
Resources for students doing research on Long Island history.

6. Maritime History Virtual Archives
The Maritime History Virtual Archives provides information on shipbuilding and naval architecture, maritime history, duties of officers and men, and images of ships and ship models.

7. New York State History
Information on aspects of the history of the state's artistic, architectural, canal, cities', political, medical, military, social history, and people.

8. PML Military History
