The ERIC database is the world's largest source of education information,
containing more than 1 million abstracts of education-related documents and
journal articles. ERIC updates the database monthly. The site includes
information on how to search the database and obtain documents included in
the search results.

The U.S. Department of Education compiles a variety of information relating to government initiatives and educational programs at all levels, education-related grants (look under OERI) and statistics (NCES), and departmental publications. A searchable index and searchable department phone directory are available.

4. Statistical Profiles of New York Public School Districts
District by district statistical profiles that include information on school enrollment, pupil teacher ratio, expenditures, dropout rates, and regents examinations.

These reports are detailed, school by school results of standardized testing for all public schools in New York State.
