The main building of the Huntington Public Library is located on Main Street (Route 25A) in the village of Huntington. The major north-south thoroughfare is Route 110. There are other roads that will take you into Huntington Village, but if you are not familiar with the area, it's best to travel on Route 110. You can reach Route 110 from all major parkways and from the Long Island Expressway.
1. L.I.E. to Route 110, Huntinton (Exit 49N).
or take Northern State Parkway to Route 110, Huntington (Exit 40N).
2. North on Route 110; across Jericho Turnpike. Route 110 is also called New York Avenue. New York Avenue to Main st.
3. Left on Main Street. Library is 3 blocks west and on the south side of Main Street - corner of Main Street and Prospect Street.
4. Traveling time from the L.I.E. is approximately 1/2 hr.
